On behalf of the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to the opening of the 5th Okinawa International Movie Festival.

Now in its 5th year, the Okinawa International Movie Festival has witnessed an ever- growing number of participants and received generous support from the movie industry in Asia. The Okinawa International Movie Festival was established with the theme of bringing laughter and joy to movie goers. After years of hard work, the Festival has succeeded in gaining a special position in the international film festival circuit.

I thank the Festival organizer for their relentless efforts in delivering a successful Movie Festival. Wish all the audience a memorable and enjoyable experience !
