“The Detective Is in the Bar” was released in 2011, which was a big hit at theaters. The fantastic (odd and funny?) duo, Tantei and Takada, returns to the big screen! The duo stirred the film industry by receiving a number of film awards including the Yujiro Ishihara Award at the 24th Nikkan Sports Film Award and the Picture of the Year Award, along with six other awards, at the 35th Japan Academy Prize. Its setting is in familiar Susukino, Sapporo. The case for the duo this time round is a homicide of their friend. Friends in the streets are holding their tongue for some reason, and the client is an enigmatic beauty. The shadow of a politician appears lurking behind the scene. Something sinister is happening...
