Storyline

The fear creeps in through the lonliness that everyone has felt.
The story is set in one of the housing complexes, which were increased rapidly throughout the country along with the population increase during the Rapid Economic Growth.
Although they used to symbolize Japan, houseing complexes have lost their vibrancy nowadays, and the scenery with the dilapidated buildings standing quietly together reminds you of modern haunted mansions.
The film shows how the girl who moved in to the complex has gradually got caught by the fear and lonliness.

Plot

The latest bloodcurdling horror film created by Director Hideo Nakata, a great master of horror movies which even shook Hollywood, has won great acclaim around the world, and finally it will be unveiled in Japan.
The heroine selected by Director Nakata is Atsuko Maeda, who has marked a first step toward the career as an actress.
The actor who plays the role of Sasahara, a young man who scrumbles to save her, is Hiroki Narimiya who also appears in the "Aibo (Buddy)" series.
Minoru, a boy who holds the key of the story, is played with zeal by Kanau Tanaka who also appears in other drama programs and films.
