First of all, I would like to offer you my hearty congratulations on the opening of the 5th Okinawa International Movie Festival, and express my sincere gratitude for the invitation I have received yet again.

I have always been a supporter of the Okinawa Movie Festival, but this year, to my joy, I am participating in this wonderful event as a director. I have a pleasure to introduce my first film to many of those who visit Okinawa during the festival.

For that reason, most certainly, this year’s event is a special occasion for me personally.

The Okinawa International Movie Festival has always been well received since its first meeting.
I am sure that all the success cannot be attained without thorough preparations made by Yoshimoto Kogyo Co., Ltd., the largest management firm in Japan.

Moreover, the unique concept of the event “Laugh & Peace” seems to be a driving force for many people to gather in Okinawa.

Lastly, I wish the 5th Okinawa International Movie Festival to become a truly enjoyable event for all the visitors while making them share a laugh with everybody else.
